Baby Liam's Booties

The pattern from these booties is the same as the pink ones I did back in February 2005 from Knitting for Baby by Melanie Falic and Kristin Nicholas. The first time they turned out to be way too huge, but this time I knitted them using size 3 needles and used Debbie Bliss' Baby Cashmerino in 204 Blue. I also used an i-cord instead of ribbon for the tie. This is a fun pattern to knit, but it's knitted flat and now having knitted two hats in the round, I think I'm ready to tackle socks! Once I knit a few pairs of adult and youth socks, I'd like to knit Ann Budd's Better Than Booties Baby Socks.
